 Mike Foster is the Director of A1, which he established in 1999 following a training and business skills based career in business banking, with additional experience from senior management positions in the leisure industry and whilst undertaking senior leadership roles in the charitable sector with Rotary.
He has a wide range of experience in the small business market, whilst holding various positions with a major high street bank. Mike was trained at the Warwick University school of business, holds his financial qualification with the Chartered Institute of Bankers and has a diploma in Sales and Marketing.
Mike is also MICB CB.Dip certified & qualified Bookkeeper and holds a practising certificate with the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers.
He is also a qualified, HSE & QCA approved instructor to deliver first aid courses and holds a diploma in sales & marketing.
Following his involvement with various Chambers of commerce, in 2007 Mike was asked to join the board of The Oxfordshire Town Chambers Network www.otcn.co.uk as a non-exec Director. Mike is also the Treasurer of Didcot Chamber of Commerce, an active member of Kidlington Voice and a trustee of the Citizens advice bureau in his home town.
His interests are his voluntary work, where he has held the post of National Chairman for the voluntary organisation - Rotaract, covering Great Britain and Ireland. He is a past president of his local Rotary club. Other interests include football and rugby.
